Growth Case Study: Structured Cabling Industry

When a structured cabling, audio-visual, and commercial security camera company came to us, they had an ambitious goal spanning multiple geographic service areas.

Specifically, they wanted more commercial leads in Tucson and a path to expand into Phoenix and eventually El Paso.

At their starting point, their organic leads hovered between 5-10 per month and their site was not showing up for a variety of their key services, ranging from security camera installation to access control, fiber optic cabling, and more.

Our Game Plan

To kick things off, we did a comprehensive SEO analysis. Then, we executed a local SEO strategy designed to scale:

  • Rich Webpage Content for Local Hubs: We created geographic “hubs” for each expansion market, each with a central services page supported by location-service pages for every key offering. This gave Google a clear signal about what they do and where they work.
  • Google Business Profile Growth: We launched and optimized a new profile for their new Phoenix location and built out citations so their local presence was rock-solid and consistent.
  • Content & Niche Link Building: We performed link outreach, guest posting, and other link building efforts to secure relevant link placements and boost website authority for all locations.

The Results

  • ~200% traffic increase across the site
  • Increased inbound organic & maps leads to between 20-40 per month, including large scale commercial installation.

What We Learned

Scaling local SEO requires thoughtful planning around each element of the campaign: content, Google Business Profile optimization, and link building.

By creating a repeatable framework, content hubs, strong profiles, and targeted links, we set them up to win in every new market they enter.
